i wrote this tut for you all i tryed to keep it simple

this is an original Breaking Tradition tut

there are 27 in this i used the love hearts

ok let begin open template and duplicate it hit shift and d close original

select the long rectangle layer ( the grey one ) grab your selection tool
select the rectangle and add new raster layer paste paper 1 into selected
then deselect.

repeat this using paper 5 on the right triangle

select two colours from your tube one light one dark and flood fill the
light grey and black rectangles and the centre circle.

open your tube copy and paste into the two rectangles you have added the papers too
cut the one going into the right corner add drop shadows

with your selection wand select the centre circle add new raster layer
next cut your tube across the chest and copy then paste into selected select none

add button 1 resize and move to the bottom right of the long rectangle

open star 4 copy and paste resize and move to the right side of the circle

make sure you are adding a drop shadow as you go

open your bead string copy then paste as new layer resize and move to the right top corner
of the long rectangle

oh dont forget to add your copy right info and licence number (if required)

and save now your done
if you dont want to animate if you do follow the
next few steps

open ani shop copy and paste your tag into it

open your animation edit select all now go back to your tag and
duplicate to the required amount of frame so the animation will fit

then edit select all now back to your animation copy
then go to your tag paste into selected frames place over the centre circle
then save

all done now all you have to do is add your name

Filters needed
Muras copies

font i used : Al young crafter

add drop shadows as you like

ok lets get started
open new image 500x500 transparent

open your tube of choice and select two colours from it
then go to your rectangle tool and make the lines 2 width
draw out your rectangle in the center of the imge and convert to raster
next draw another one smaller on the left hand side of the first you will want this length ways

you should have this now

now select inner part of the small rectangle add new layer and paste your tube as new layer
and move over selected then go to selections > invert > delete this should leave part of your tube on the rectange
selections > select none

now select the BCA ribbon that is with this tube or any BCA ribbon you have
go to effects > plug-ins > muras copies use these settings

Circle number - 12
tile mode
behind BG Color - pale pink

encircle

move your ribbons to the bottom layer
now go back to your large rectangle and select inner part using your magic wand
add new raster layer and now go to your tube using your crop tool cutyour tube you only want the brests once you have this done copy and paste into selected go to layer > dublicate
go to your layers section in the bottom right hand side of your psp go to blend mode bottom tube change to overlay and top tube to color (Legacy)

you should have this now

now go back to your tube
image > mirror
copy and paste as a new layer place it so it looks like it is sitting in the big rectangle, add drop shadow
now paste in the BCA ribbon of choice again move to the right hand corner and add drop shadow

now just add your copyright info and licence number merge visable and you are done

OK lets get started,
Open new image 600x500.
Open template from your supplies,
Paste as a new layer, now open your tubes main tube in the centre as above,
Add drop shadow at these settings.

vertical -2
Horizontal -4
Opacity 50
Blur 6.00
Color : black

Now go back to your template layer and grab your magic wand and select all the sections of the template
and now open JD paper 4 and paste into selected now go to select none.
staying with your template layer and using your magic wand again select one section of the template and
add new raster layer copy a new tube and paste in to selected
Add drop shadow at these settings.

vertical -1
Horizontal -4
Opacity 50
Blur 6.00
Color : black

Repeat this for the next three sections of the template.
open the butterfly and add to the bottom left of your template add drop shadow duplicate and move to the top right.

Once you have this done add element 7 resize to fit behind your template now add element 10 ontop of the make sure you resize to fit
add drop shadow at the same settings above.

Add copyright info and licence number if required.

Step 1

•First you open up a new image 450 x 450. You can find this in the top left corner of your psp.
•Your should now have something similar to the image below.
•Once you have this open go to your supplies.

Step 2

•You will get your supplies by going to the top left and click on file, then go down to browse, click on your psp supplies, this should open all your kits, elements , and tubes up for you.

Step 3

•Now go to your Scrapkit
•Once you have done this open it up by double clicking on it.
•Now go to papers and open one of your choosing.
•Then right click on it copy then go to your new image and paste as new layer

Step 4

•Now open up one of your frames, cope and paste this over the paper, resize if needed using the raster deformer tool on the left side of psp under the pan tool.
•Now you should have something like this

Step 5

•Now grab you magic wand and click on the inside of your frame and add new raster layer.
•Back over to your papers and pick a different one now add paste into selected.
•Once that is done go to selections at the top and select none.
•Make sure you pull this layer under your frame on the left hand side.
Add your elements i have used the cauldron 1, bat on chain both brooms the bead string and the word art spook resize these as needed and paste as new layers dont forget to add drop shadows.
The bubbles are out of psp in your picture tool use scale 50 and place over the cauldron so it looks like its bubbling.

Step 6

•Now open you tube

•Copy and paste as new layer.
•Once you have done all add your copyright information and your licence number.
•Finally merge visable and save as.
•Don’t forget your name.

Congratulations you are finished

Now open up your supplies and click on the template copy and paste as a new layer

just remember to mirror on the opposite side so top two are looking in and bottom two are looking out

Open new image 500x500 flood fill white,
open the flower glitter doodle and paste as a new layer
resize as needed.

Now open Frame 2 and paste over the flower doodles.
You will need to resize this so that you can still see the doodles behind.

Now i want you to grab your magic wand and select inside the frame then go to
selection > modifty > expand > 3
add new layer and paste paper 2 into selected > select none,
drag the paper layer so it side behind your frame.

Now get flower branc 1 and paste on top of your frame,
and resize so it looks like its hanging on to it.
It should be sitting on the frame in the top right hand corner.

Next to the tree open this up and resize then
paste and move to the left corner of the tag.

(hope you have been adding your drop shadows)

Now open your grass and get your crop tool and cut out the blue grass then paste as new layer.
Resize and move to the middle of the tag at the bottom
go to effects > plug ins > ECWS > Edge Fade by 84.

Open and paste in your birds and butterflies and place where you want
I have used all three birds and both butterflies.

Now its time to add your tube as you can see i have used the one from the kit.
You will need to resize her and paste as a new layer just behind your grass
then move her to the right a bit.

Add your copyright info
licence number .
(if required)

If you are not going to animate please merge visable now
if you are then dont merge yet.

Click on your doodle layer
duplicate x2.
Hide the top layer
Go to effects > plug ins > Dsh Flux > Bright noise > 37
then copy merged and paste into your animation show as new animation.

Repeat step 11 but make sure you have swapped the layers around
so that you are clicked on the top layer and bottom one is hid.
Paste this after selected in animation shop.

Now you are done you just need to add your name and away you go

Ok lets begin

Dont forget to save regularly and add drop shadows to your layers.

Open your supplies in psp so you have them to hand.

Now open new image 550x550 transparent

Now go to your supplies and open paper 6 now copy and paste as a new layer, then open paper 2 and do the same as paper 6 now grab your freehand selection tool and select Half of paper 2 so its jagged looking not a straight line once you have this done hit delete.

So now you should have like above image.
click on you paper 6 layer and go to effects > filters > unlimited 2 > paper textures > Japanese paper and hit ok.

Now back to top layer and open your elements,
Grab the word charm "BITCH" no need to resize and copy and paste to the right of the image
once you are happy with that open the pink ribbon paste as new layer > resize using your deform tool and move to the left of the image.

Now open the Slave glass bead resize and place over the pink ribbon repeat this with slave flower 1
(see image above)
Open label 1 and move it up the image and resize and tilt to the left a bit, now back to your elements and open label 2 > resize and leave just below label 1.

Open bow 1 and resize so it can sit on the right corner of label 1.

We are nearly there :)

last element needed is the handkuffs
so grab handkuffs 2 and paste as new layer these should be on top of everything else,
resize and move to the bottom left corner.

right now you need to add your tube.
to do this go back down to the layer with paper 6 and copy and paste your tube as a new layer and it should look like she is behind paper 2

Add your copyright info and licence number
(if needed)

merge visable
and your Done

Ok lets get started.

open your supplies in psp.

Open a new image of 450x450,

make sure its transparent.

Now go to frames and open frame 040 (black &pink)

once you have this open copy and paste it as a new layer , resize, and add a drop shadow.

VERTICAL : 3

HORIZONTAL : 5

OPACITY : 50

BLUR : 5.00

COLOR : BLACK

(now keep in mind most of this kit will have to be resized, you can do this using your deform tool.

This just helps clear that up so now i only will have to put in to resize lol)

Now i want you to go to the layer behind the frame.

You can do this on the right hand side under layers.

You still with me, right open one of the papers i have used paper 080 and resize so it fits behind the frame.

Now back to the top layer,

open leaves 040 and leaves 050 and resize both and paste as new layers,

you want 040 under 050 add drop shadows to both these

using the same settings as above.

Now go to the layer below your frame and add your tube,

now add your drop shadow @

VERTICAL : 2

HORIZONTAL : 3

OPACITY : 50

BLUR : 5.00

COLOR : WHITE

Now she should look like she has a bit of a glow.

Now add your copyright info and licence number (if required)

Merge visable in layers and you are done

Here's why ADD and ADHD often leads to compulsive behavior & addiction. I'll also tell you a little known secret about how to avoid addiction and how to heal it.

Individuals with AD/HD have several characteristics that make them more vulnerable to substance abuse, addiction and compulsive behaviors. These characteristics are impulsiveness, sensation-seeking, risk-taking, thrill-seeking, and low levels of inhibition.

The Dopamine reward pathways of the brain are different in people with AD/HD. Dopamine is a chemical in the brain that feels good when it is released and it acts as part of an internal reward system. Dopamine rewards are critical for survival since they provide the pleasurable feelings associated with things like eating and reproduction.

The same release of dopamine and subsequent sensations of pleasure can be produced unnaturally with substances like alcohol, nicotine, cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana, and other drugs, by compulsive activities such as eating, gambling, and sex, and by sensational risk taking behaviors. While only a minority of individuals becomes addicted to these substances or behaviors, there is a prevalence of people with ADHD who are addicted to them.

Big Risks - Big Rewards

When you have ADD or ADHD your brain does not reward you with a rush of dopamine easily, so you have to go to more extreme measures just to get that experience of well being. That's why many AD/HD-ers are driven to take big risks and go after big accomplishments like the rebellious thrill-seeking billionaire Richard Branson (Founder of Virgin).

That desperate desire for stimulation is also why many ADHD-ers self-destruct with compulsive gambling, sexual addictions, binging or finding one crisis after another. Extreme situations, whether positive or negative tend to lend enough excitement to evoke that dopamine rush and let ADHD-ers feel alive.

Ok let's begin

DON'T FORGET TO SAVE REGULARLY AND TO ADD DROP SHADOWS AS WE GO

open new image 450x450

Open paper 6 and add as new layer you will need to resize this using your deform tool,

Open 18 png (white frame), copy and paste as new layer over the paper, now go back to the layer with your paper and resize so it fits in behind the frame.

Now open 29 png (wording) and place between the paper and frame and resize to fit so it looks as if it is part of the background

Open up your tube and paste as new layer on top of 29png, now resize (if needed) and move to the left corner,

you should have something close to the above image.

Add black drop shadow to your frame layer only, now click on your tube layer and add a white drop shadow so it looks like she is glowing.

back to the top layer

Now back to your Kit and open 1 png (red ribbon) paste as new layer > resize and now go to image>greyscale,

now go effects>Black and white points>negative yellow>apply,

Add a white drop shadow to this too.

Open 22 png (wings) new layer resize and move so it covers the top of the ribbon (it should look like the ribbon is coming out of the bottom of the wings.

Repeat what you have done with the ribbon,

add a black drop shadow to the wings.

Open 24 png ( feathers) and resize, add as new layer add black drop shadow move to the bottom right hand corner of frame

now go to

Layers > duplicate, then to image>mirror and move up to the top left hand corner.

Add your copyright info and licence number (if required)

Merge Visable and save

your done :)

Open a new image 500x500

DONT FORGET TO ADD DROP SHADOWS AS YOU GO ALONG

AND SAVE REGULARLY

Now open Glass frame 2 copy and paste as a new layer - resize if needed.

Grab your magic wand and select inside the frame go to selection modify> expand> 3 .

Open BG03 and paste into selected then select none.

Now go to your Bingo cards and open in turn and paste around the frame tilting out slightly using your deforming tool (see image above).

you may need to sharpen these after resizing them just go to adjust>sharpness>sharpen.

Now open you Bingo Dobbers

copy and paste as new layer and move to the corners i have used 2 different colored dobbers and left one a bit bigger then the other.

now open your tube copy and paste and move into the middle of the frame (see image above)

Now add your copyright info and licence number (if required)

And save

Open new image 400x400.

Copy and paste doodles of choice as new layer resize if needed, now duplicate and flip.

Open Template 5 and select the 3 smaller squares and paste them separately as new layers.

Then copy and paste rectangle position them as they are in the file.

Grab your magic wand and select the inner part of your square.

Flood fill with gradient> metal steel repeat for each section of the template.

Open tube and grab your crop tool, crop a section of the tube and paste into selected on the template do this with all three squares.

Now grab your magic wand again and select the inner part of your rectangle,

Copy and paste full tube into selected

Add your copyright and licence number (if required)

Merge visible

Save

Now just add your name and you are done

Lets get started ,

Open a new image, 500x 400

Now open DD frame 1,

Copy and paste as new layer, then grab your raster deform tool and reduce the size of the frame.

Next you grab your magic wand tool and click inside the frame.

Add new raster layer, open paper 1 and paste into selected

Now drag you raster layer 3 under layer 2 so when you add your tube it will be behind the frame but on top of paper 1.

Open the tag click on your top layer, copy and paste the tag as a new layer and resize using your deform tool again.

Open the glass and repeat what you have done with the tag and move the glass to the left hand side of the frame.

Add a drop shadow to the glass and tag using theses settings

Vertical – 1

Horizontal – 3

Opacity – 50

Blur – 30.00

Colour – Black

If you want you can add this to the frame also.

Ok now open the journaling tag 2,

Copy and paste then resize to fit in to the the center of the frame under the ribbon

But leave it stretched out so you have room to add names,

Open partyfavor01 and copy > paste as new layer > deform tool > resize

Sit it to the left of the journaling tag 2 then duplicate and mirror so you hove one on either side.

Now go to the layer under your frame (raster layer 3 )

And add your tube of choice.

Add your copyright information and licence number if needed.

And don’t forget you watermark .

• Play word games.

Dedicate each week to mastering a specific word sound. For instance, find 10 things in your house that contain the "kuh" sound -- his coat, backpack, or clock.

• Review the ideas.

When reading with a child, stop every few pages to ask what she thinks might happen next. Asking pertinent questions when reading encourages her to pay close attention and helps her put all the pieces together.

• Build vocabulary.

Talk with your child about anything that interests him, and use a mature vocabulary. The richer the verbal environment, the less likely he will be stumped by unfamiliar words in required reading.

• Know the assignment.

Before reading, the child should understand the purpose of the task that follows. For instance, if the task is writing a book report , identify the type of report and suggest note-keeping as he reads. Don't leave the gathering of information until the end of a long reading assignment.

• Use alternate formats.

Allow your child to follow along with books on tape or let her substitute alternate chapters from a novel with CliffsNotes or other abridged material.

How to plan for these holiday side effects?

* Include/Exclude: Too many events can overstimulate. Use a priority chart to decide which occasions are most important--and which can be left behind.

* Teach Self-Control: Relaxation techniques (yoga, deep breathing) can help him stay calm in a highly charged atmosphere.

* Rehearse: Role-play a scenario that has given her trouble in the past. Solutions include going to a quiet room to regroup, or responding to rude relatives by smiling and excusing herself.

the dark past of learning and behavioural difficulties

In the distant past if a child did not do well at school they were often viewed in a very poor light and descibed in negative terms . they were thought to be slow, lazy sometimes labelled as "THICK"or even "NOT RIGHT IN THE HEAD " or all of these things. the other unenlightened yet accepted views included putting the blame on the poor parenting. none of these 'diagnoses' helped the child.
parents were alone when dealing with their children's problem and perhaps marginalised and pitied for having an 'Idiot' child. As a parent it would have been difficult not to blame yourself and to be blamed by others At Tinsleyu house clinic the mothers i see may particularly be suffering varying degrees of guilt . they often blame themselves, wondering if it was something that they did wrong in pregnancy. however in the vast majority of cases those mothers could not have done anything more to care for their unborn child.
Fortunately those dark days of ignorance about learning difficulties are over. instead over the last twenty or thirty yrs we have seen a shift towards greater understanding and increased sympathy for children who find reading , learning and daily life so difficult clearly this is a change for the better.
not only have the attitudes changed for the better, but the government has also stepped in, and now you can expect help from the medical and educational system, this is great relief for parents and a vast improvement for the children concerned.
the main shift began when the medical establishments made attempts to diagnose and label learning difficulties and behavioural problems. their intention was to solve the child's problem. it was thought that from this starting point - figureing out what was wrong and giving it a name - the beginnings of a treatment for these problems would emerge.
The labels used are : Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) , Attention deficit disorder ADD , Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Obsessive-compulsive disorder OCD , Autism , Tourette's syndrome.
these labels are universally used and many people find them useful, there are a number of reasons for this. the key reason is that the help and support given to a child depends upon the childs being diagnosed and labelled by the education and medical systems.
it also helps parents. to have a name for what is wrong gives them a sense that they know what the problem is and that there is a treatment for that particular condition. they feel less helpless and alone. for the child , they're probably simply grateful for the extra help and attention they receive instead of being pushed harder.
to ensure that the child receives good support from the school and so that something is done about the childs problem

responding to ADHD behaviour

Pokes and teases his sister at meal times
food is about nutrition and mealtimes are for families to get together and communicate, dont let squabbles and nit picking cause stress, we want peace, not perfection. have a few non-negotiable rules and let the rest pass

*' you can rabbit on about any topic but you can't tease, insult or abuse your sister'

*you can wriggle, swing and touch but there must be absolutely no contact with your sister or anything she owns

*if the rule is broken, there is one warning and then action - as in giving him a time out -5 minutes on the stairs (quietly and he has to ask for the alarm to be set and you dont set it till he asks and is then quiet if he starts messing or talking or making noise you tell him you are stopping the alarm till he goes quiet again and asks for the alarm to be reset and you keep doing this until he has sat quiet for the whole 5 minutes straight then you welcome him back in to the room when the alarm goes off - or sending him to bed earlier then his sister

A personalised consultation is essential when it comes to nutrient and supplement recommendations for an individual. Please do not self prescribe and administer as this can lead to additional health problems. Dosages are dependent on individual needs.

LIFESTYLE CHANGES:

*
Restrict TV, Video and DVD watching as well as computer games, as these all cause neuro-sensory overload. A maximum of 1 hour per day, preferably less and never at bedtime.

*
Make sure you are getting enough exercise. Choose a sport or exercise programme that suits your lifestyle or you will “give-up” quickly. Important to expel excess energy and get a good release of carbon dioxide and a good intake of oxygen. Outside in some sunshine is best. (Vitamin D & Calcium conversion)
*
WATER! Drink clean filtered water. Tap water can contain various chemicals that can aggravate your symptoms.
*
Make sure you are getting enough good quality sleep. Sleep is the time our bodies need to: digest, nourish, repair and eliminate.
*
Avoid (as much as possible) exposure to any obvious chemical stimuli in the environment, such as perfumes, heavy metals and cigarette smoke.
*

Keep a strict schedule – waking-time, work, exercise, meals, bed-time etc.

These are some of the nutritional steps I feel may improve behaviour, concentration and mood:

1. Start by removing refined sugar and food additives from your diet. Read the labels of products carefully and eliminate processed foods containing artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners and preservatives. Common food additives that may cause problems are: calcium silicate, BHT, BHA, MSG (monosodium glutamate), benzoyl peroxide, emulsifiers, thickeners, stabilisers, vegetable gums and food starch. Also remove caffeine (chocolate, coffee, colas) as this has also been shown to aggravate hyperactive behaviour.
2.
Increase water intake (filtered) and eliminate carbonated fizzy cooldrinks as these contain phosphate additives linked to increased hyperkinesis (exaggerated muscle activity) as well as lowering the bodies calcium and magnesium levels.
3.
Salicylates are naturally occurring chemicals found in certain plant foods, and have been implicated in many cases of ADD / ADHD. These are a bit trickier to eliminate from the diet. Avoid aspirin (acetyl salicylate) and medication with artificial colours + flavours, toothpastes, perfumes + perfumed creams. A low-salycilate diet is recommended rather than a no-salycilate diet, as this could make you more prone to a reaction if small amounts are ingested accidentally.
4.
Elimination of gluten (gliadin) – the protein found in wheat products predominantly (breads, biscuits, pastas etc.) but also found in barley, rye and oats. These other 3 may be tolerated, but check by elimination.
5.
Elimination of casein – the protein found in dairy products: milk, cheese, yoghurt – known to have an opiate effect.
6.
Include cold water fish which contain Omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids are essential to the body and cannot be manufactured internally, so they have to be eaten. The DHA component is essential to neurological development. Tinned fish has very limited quantities (if any), so rather buy fresh fish – tuna (may contain mercury, so smaller fish are better) salmon, mackerel, snoek, herring, pilchards / sardines. A supplement may be a better option if liver function is poor or heavy metal toxicity is already a problem.
7.
If none of the above steps influence your behaviour positively, then consider testing for allergies or intolerances, as these may be contributing to their behaviour. When allergy is contributing to ADHD symptoms, there are often associated issues such as nasal problems, excessive mucus, ear infections, tonsillitis, digestive problems, bad breath, eczema, asthma & headaches.

BE PREPARED TO FIGHT YOUR CORNER BUT IT TO HIM IN SOME WAY THAT HE AGREES WITH YOU TO THE DIET AND THEN HE FEELS LIKE HE HAD AN OPINION IN THE DECISION TOO

i thought i would start adding some info on adhd here every now and again as i have a son with it and i know how hard it can be to cope with so im going to try to get info out there for others in the same situation as myself.

Weekly Tip: Homework & Bedtime Routines

Routines improve kids' efficiency and daily functioning, and offer structure that helps them feel safe and secure. Want to create this environment in your home?

At homework time:

* Pick a homework spot to use on a regular basis. Keep supplies (pencils, paper, calculator) nearby.
* Enforce a consistent start time to help your child build a homework habit.
* Estimate how much time you need each nig ht for homework, dinner, and preparing for the next day. Then add another five to 10 minutes.

At bedtime:

* Have your child spend 20 minutes relaxing before bed. She can take a bath, play a quiet game, or read a book.
* Establish a simple evening routine: Get into PJs, brush teeth, and use the bathroom. You don't want to hear, "Mom, I have to go to the bathroom!" five minutes after you say goodnight.
* Develop a sweet and personal bedtime tradition that signals to your child that it's time to go to sleep.

im starting to get the hang of things slowly but surely.
Keep an eye out here as over the next few days im going to try to throw you together some commercial use freebies.

Not sure what it will be yet but hopefully you will like it or them lol depending on how i feel and what time i get to make them for you all.

Im going to have to relook at my terms of use as well as i dont have a CU part in there so i will be adding one and could you please ensure you read this please .

Day Dream

This tutorial is my design if it is similar in anyway to another tutorial this is coincidental.

Ok lets begin

Remember to save regularly

Open new image 500 x 500 transparent

Grab your pan tool

Open my template and copy raster 4 and paste as new layer.

Now grab your magic wand tool >select rectangle

Then open up your scrap kit and open Paper 5 copy and paste this into selected, leave selected add new layer >selections>modify>contract by 5,

Open Paper 9 and paste into selected now unselect all.

Now merge visible.

Do the same with the other rectangle you should have a rectangle in the top left and bottom right now.

Now grab you Pan tool again and copy and paste the largest circle and paste as new layer >magic wand and select.

Open paper 13 >paste into selected unselect all,

Now add the squares place were needed,

Do the same with the circles,

Open paper 8 select the square and paste into selected repeat for second square and duplicate so you now have 3 squares, open frame 3 resize as needed and paste on top of the squares move then and resize so they fit into the widows of the frame.

Grab magic wand and select all the little circles,

Copy and paste paper 10 into selected,

Add flowers and bows as you see fit I have used flowers 3 and 1

Now add your tube and copyright info and your done
